Multi-Night
Target Imaging

Imagers are taking increasingly longer exposures to get the most out
of their imaging efforts. Often this requires image acquisition over
multiple nights. Load up an image from a previous nights imaging run,
and let CCDAutoPilot do the rest.

High Accuracy Plate Solve
At your chosen start time, CCDAP2
will un-park your telescope and slew to your chosen target. CCDAP2 then
will perform a plate solve to assure that you are pointed directly at
your target within a few arc-seconds.

Advanced Guider Calibration
If your previous nights target
image was taken with CCDAP2, your guide star location will be
automatically detected and re-used for auto-guiding. If you are using an
instrument rotator, CCDAP2 will notify you of the needed rotation angle.
Once the rotator is rotated and the guide star is located, CCDAP2 will
auto-calibrate your mount and start tracking and imaging.
